Silver 1 is located on the outside of the circuit immediately after the exit of La Source hairpin, Spa’s iconic Turn 1. From here, cars launch down the hill at full throttle, weaving through the gentle kink before committing to Eau Rouge and Raidillon, two of Formula 1’s most legendary corners.

The grandstand sits on a raised dirt mound set slightly further back from the track, giving spectators an elevated view over the safety barriers and fencing. The result is a panoramic sweep of high-speed downhill racing that few other locations can match.

Seating and Structure

Silver 1 is a stepped concrete grandstand, meaning there are no fixed or individual seats—spectators sit directly on the concrete rows. The grandstand is uncovered, so bring weather gear for sun or rain protection. It includes 13 blocks (A to M), with each section offering 10–16 rows.

While seating is basic, the raised position and long field of view make up for the simplicity. Early-arrival or central seats offer the best visibility.
